Quick Update

I just wanted to update everyone on my absence of late. Things in our household have been a little bit crazy. I’ve had illness in the family and also I’ve been poorly myself, so I apologise for the silence. I am working through my various reviews and I will have a few opinion pieces also

Firmoo FTW... Glasses for everyone!

A smart pair of glasses can really make the difference. As a little girl, I used to hate wearing glasses, especially at school. I was meant to wear them in class, but I never did! These days, glasses have come a long way and the fashionable ones usually come with a pretty big price tag.

SWANNY.ME in Tots100, Top 500

So, this month came round and I have been checking since the first of the month. It’s been a LONG wait, but well worth it! I was ranked #370 initially, but now the rankings have settled, I’m a little lower at #382. But still, that’s a HUGE 1012 places I have gone up from April.

It’s certainly a lot easier to write about nice things, but not so easy to share the more emotional things that happen in a week. This week was a little more than just anxiety for me. I have high standards for myself and although I know I should make them more realistic, I feel that I should always be functioning on a high level.

Never lose your car again! Zus - The Smart Car Charger Review

Recently I was contacted by Nonda about their Zus Smart Car Finder and USB Car Charger. Before receiving it, I didn’t really have a clue how this was going to work in the real world. It sounded great on paper, but would I find my car in the middle of a muddy field of cars?

School Applications: Don't Panic!

I found that the whole school thing crept up on me, and I was less than prepared. I had missed most of the first round of open days and some I’d missed completely! Applications were meant to be in by the beginning of January and I was already in November. That might still sound like there’s lots of time to visit schools, but in reality, some schools will only allow tours on open days, as I found out.
