A smart pair of glasses can really make the difference. As a little girl, I used to hate wearing glasses, especially at school. I was meant to wear them in class, but I never did! These days, glasses have come a long way and the fashionable ones usually come with a pretty big price tag.
I was asked by the guys at Firmoo to review* a pair of their glasses, which I jumped at. I’ve always loved a nice pair of glasses. I’d never ordered a pair of glasses online, so this was all very new for me. Honestly, I thought this was going to be complicated and difficult, but in reality, it was a breeze. The only thing I needed to do before ordering was to get my prescription from my opticians. Unfortunately that wasn’t as easy as I had hoped and I needed to go in to collect it. From this point onwards, though, it was so straight forward and easy.
I was really impressed with being able to upload my picture so I could see the various frames on my own face. It gives you good idea of size and width. I would give yourself a good amount of time to look through the various frames though as there are loads to choose from. Another nifty feature is the ability to add the glasses you like to a favourites list. Be prepared to be going through quite a few though, as I think I ended up with 15 frames on mine and choosing was a nightmare! I definitely made the right choice though. All the frames are so lovely, I was really impressed, such a great range!
Now, being overseas, I thought they were going to take ages, however, they came in a week and I was really impressed. The postage I would say is the only negative as it’s quite pricey if you don’t spend over $55. However, if you spend over $55 you can use the code ‘FREEEXSHIP’. If you’re in the US, you get free shipping on anything over $39 using the code ‘FREESHIP’. The price if it’s less than that is $18.95 for the UK and Ireland (and most European countries).
Overall, even with the shipping cost if under $55, these glasses are definitely worth it. I love mine and the clarity is fantastic. I’m already eyeing up my next few purchases.
* My lovely glasses were provided to me free of charge for review, however, my views are honest and true. This was not a sponsored post.
