Pure Pop Midi Review

Posted on 30th January 2017 by swanny

In recent years, I made the switch to digital radio, everywhere… including my car! The stations I listen to now, cannot be found on FM radio and obviously there’s the clarity that goes with digital radio. It’s awesome!!!

My first digital radio was a Union Jack Pure radio that I got about 7 or 8 years ago. It’s now in my boys room and still going strong, even with a broken aerial. I have another Orla Kiely designed radio, on my desk, also by Pure. Again, it’s been with me for a number of years. I think you’re getting the idea… Pure are great quality and long lasting radios. So, when I was asked if I would like to review the Pop Midi speaker from Pure, I jumped at the chance.

This was a very different radio than what I was used to. It was a lot smaller and also had Bluetooth capability, which my other Pure’s didn’t have. Now the introduction of the Bluetooth has definitely enhanced the experience. My youngest son is always asking me to put on a certain song on his radio, but alas, it’s just a radio. With the Pop Midi, this would now be possible.

Okay, so that’s not the only additional feature. It has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 20 hrs, it has a kitchen timer and an alarm. These features make it a great little device to put int he kitchen or bedroom as well as communal areas of the house. It’s small and compact, so doesn’t take up too much room and with John Lewis currently selling them at a bargain £59.99, you’re also onto a winner.

I will honestly be sad to see the Pop Midi go. It’s a lovely little device that does everything you’d expect and more. A great space saver and stylish enough to fit anywhere in your home.
