As a massive Tokidoki and Ju Ju Be fan, I cannot wait to get my hands on their new Supertoki and Sweet Victory prints. These have to be one of my favourite prints to date as I have a little boy who is obsessed with superheroes. So, what’s so special about Ju Ju Be and…
Anxiety and Depression WITHOUT Medication!
Life can be difficult at times. Since I found out I have a kidney disorder five, I’ve suffered terribly with my moods. Anxiety and depression is a reality for so many, but why do so many of us feel ashamed and hide it away? At the same time, why do so many people without anxiety and depression…
Friends – Is making mummy friends worse than dating?
Since becoming a Mum, there’s one thing that has really bothered me. Making Mummy friends… Why does it feel like you’ve been plunged back into the dating scene?
Once upon a time, I would go out, meet new people and it felt reasonably easy and enjoyable. You’d have a chat, a drink, a laugh! BUT… being a Mum and meeting other Mums, it’s none of those things. I would go as far as to say it’s even harder than actually dating!
6 years and going strong!
Today is my 6th wedding anniversary and I couldn’t be happier! I married my best friend, a cliché I know, but he really has been by my side through thick and thin! When we got married, we didn’t have a care in the world. I didn’t suffer from my health problems and everything was super easy. Never lose your car again! Zus – The Smart Car Charger Review
Recently I was contacted by Nonda about their Zus Smart Car Finder and USB Car Charger. Before receiving it, I didn’t really have a clue how this was going to work in the real world. It sounded great on paper, but would I find my car in the middle of a muddy field of cars?
School Applications: Don’t Panic!
I found that the whole school thing crept up on me, and I was less than prepared. I had missed most of the first round of open days and some I’d missed completely! Applications were meant to be in by the beginning of January and I was already in November. That might still sound like there’s lots of time to visit schools, but in reality, some schools will only allow tours on open days, as I found out.
5 easy ways to say goodbye to anxious thoughts…
About three years ago now, I developed severe anxiety due to a traumatic experience in hospital. To this day, I still suffer with anxiety, but through retraining my thoughts, I don’t suffer anywhere near as badly as I did. My anxiety attacks these days are completely manageable and panic attacks are super rare as I am able to identify the symptoms and can quash them before they start to take hold. Here are my top tips on how I have dealt with my anxiety:
My Happy Week #1
I came across Katy and Sian’s Linky and I thought what a great idea it is. I’ve decided to focus on positives from now on, so every week, I will be posting what made me happy in the week. It’s a nice way to lift mood and remember the good things.
