Tea Glorious Tea

Posted on 23rd February 201724th February 2017 by swanny

It’s no secret, I *LOVE* my subscription boxes! I love the surprises, the bargains… I just love getting post! Back in December, I was contacted by the guys at teatourist and asked if I would like to sample a box… No brainer! A subscription box with tea… heavenly!!!

So, it arrived a few days later and it had six selections in the box. Teatourist offer herbal, black, green, roobious and fruit tea. Basically, there’s something for everyone! This first box really kick started my love for tea again. I had got into a bit of a routine and my daily tea was the Sainsburys or M&S Earl Grey, which is lovely, but not exciting! Tea tourist has brought the ‘excitement’ back for me and along the way I have come across the most lovely tea companies.

In my box I had the these lovely teas:

  1. Gingerbread Chai from Tugboat Brews (who also do coffee)
  2. Scotch Acorns from Nothing But Tea
  3. Citris Ginger from by Lulin Teas
  4. Shirahore Green Tea by Momo Cha Fine Teas
  5. Marzipan Rooibos by Hoogly Tea
  6. Winter Spice by Chash, The Fine Tea Company

The sets work really well in our household as my husband is a big herbal and green tea drinker and I love the black and rooibos blends the most. Some of the fruit and herbal teas have really taken me by surprise though and I’m definitely enjoying them a lot more than I expected.

My personal favourites from this box were the Gingerbread Chai from Tugboat Brews and the Scotch Acorns from Nothing But Tea… What a couple of gems these were. I have since gone on to purchase them in their full (and bulk) sizes. My other personal favourite that has become a daily sip is the Rooibos Earl Grey from Tea Leaf London who were featured in the second box I received.

As I have rediscovered this love of tea, I’ve decided to start a new feature where I will be reviewing a brew every week. I’m so excited about this as it means I get to drink more tea a discover some amazing new tea companies that we have here in the UK and hopefully some worldwide also. I’m just deciding between Tea Tuesday or Swanny’s Tea Party. I would LOVE your feedback!

You can get 30% off your first box with my special code ‘SWANNY30’. Do it, you won’t regret it 🙂

Until the next time!

I’m not a tea fan but my hubby would love this set.
