Hergé’s Tin Tin is one of those cartoons that will entertain both young and old forever. It’s unsurprising then that the film has just been nominated for not one, but two BAFTA’s. And with any big blockbuster these days, there’s a game to go with the film.
It was a game I was keen to play. Nostalgia took over and at Christmas I had the perfect excuse to adventure through the windy seas and the stormy skies with my step son. The game is easy to pick up and can be played with Kinect or if you’re feeling a little bit old school, you can always just use the good old controllers.
The graphics I found were good and the play was flowing. My favourite part was probably the fight scenes with the comedy punches and creeping up on enemies. You do have to watch out though if you’re playing two player as you can unintentionally beat your partner us, as I found out – a very unimpressed 7 year old starring at me angrily. oops!
This is definitely one for the family. It can be played with one or two players and is delightfully fun. A firm favourite in my household. We give it an excellent 4/5
